Tv quiz shows, scandal after scandal about phone competitions.?

Would you now phone a TV quiz show in the UK in the hope of winning money or a prize with all the wrong doings that have been and are still going on, when you never stand a chance of winning anything.

Never have, never will!

I can't wait to see how progammes such as The X-Factor %26amp; Strictly Come Dancing cope without the 'viewers' vote!

have never phoned one before because i always thought it was excessive anyway

I once voted in Pop Idol when I was 14, and I called a quiz show once to see how much it costed to phone by mobile. But to enter these competitions is pointless. Hundreds of thousands of people will obviously call in to win 鎷?0,000 or something, so the chances of you winning are so slim. But then again it's so tempting to do so! Quiz shows should be banned IMO. And as for shows that have a public vote, why not only allow online and text votes (where texting costs no more than the standard rate?)

I think all phone polls are a waste of hard working peoples money. To me its just another ripe off.
