Subjects for quiz rounds - specialist subject, picture round, and connections round?

I'm writing my pub quiz, and thought I'd make the most of the Internet's most effective crib sheet...

Has anyone got any suggestions for a specialist round (any subject you like, but not toooo obscure)

The picture round - could be anything - I'm pretty good with Photoshop, so bear that in mind, but remember it's going to be printed in black and white, and I have to be able to find the pictures online.

And the connections round - I need a connection that has at least 9 possibilities (e.g. celebrities who died aged 27)

Dingbats or rebus puzzles. You take a phrase and you arrange the phrase into a sort of puzzle typr thing and people have to try and figure out what the phrase is.

For example:

The answer is "Three blind mice" cos the "i" was missing from each of the word "mice" and you need eyes to see. Otherwise you'd be blind. Plus there was three of the same words there.
